Line Dancing at Gibson Mill Market

Grab your boots and join us at Gibson Mill Market for an evening of fun, music, and dancing. Held on alternating Fridays opposite our Salsa Dance Classes, Line Dancing is a great opportunity to learn new moves, spend time with friends, and enjoy a fun night out.

No experience is necessary. Instructors will be on hand throughout the evening to teach the dances and guide participants through the steps. Whether you're coming solo, with a partner, or bringing a group, everyone is welcome. Many dances can be enjoyed individually or as part of a larger crowd, making it easy for anyone to join in.

Summer Sparks: Saturday Robot Building Series

Join us this summer for Summer Sparks, a fun and interactive Saturday Robot Building Series hosted by Brooklyn Robot Foundry at Gibson Mill Market. Designed to inspire creativity and hands-on learning, these sessions encourage children to explore problem-solving, strengthen motor skills, build confidence, and have fun through the excitement of creating their own robots.

Kids will design, build, and take home a unique robot during each session, making every Saturday a new experience.

Program Dates: Saturdays in June: June 6, June 13, June 20, and June 27

Location: Kids Zone at Gibson Mill Market (Food Hall) 305 McGill Ave NW, Suite 200 Concord, NC 28027

Class Options:

Mini Makers – 9:30 AM (Toddlers–Pre-K) Designed for younger children with parent or guardian participation. Following storytime, little builders will create a robot together while enjoying a fun and engaging learning experience that supports development and bonding.

Robot Builders – 11:00 AM (Grades K–3) Children build independently with teacher support while learning basic concepts such as circuits and power. This session is designed as a drop-off experience, giving parents time to enjoy the food hall while children participate.

Each session includes hands-on activities and a robot creation to take home.

This free, family-friendly live music event brings together local musicians and music lovers for an informal bluegrass jam session in the heart of the food hall. Players of all skill levels are welcome to bring an instrument and join in, while guests can relax, enjoy dinner, grab drinks, and experience authentic live bluegrass music in a welcoming community atmosphere.

Grab your dice and head to Gibson Mill Market - we've got monthly Bunco for the ladies to enjoy! We'll now be meeting the third or fourth Wednesday of each month and adding a $5 cash participation fee! 

Details: 

 ~held on the third Wednesday of each month (schedule may shift for holidays but will be announced well in advance) 

 ~Gameplay starts at 6:30pm - come early to grab supper! 

 ~ Women ages 21+ are invited to attend 

 ~ meet at the tables in the bar area 

 ~You do NOT need to know how to play Bunco - we will teach you. Bunco is a game of luck that's designed purely for socialization and mingling. If you can hold dice, you qualify to play! 

 ~ $5 cash participation fee

Due to the incredible response, Salsa Dance Classes are here to stay at Gibson Mill Market. Join us every other Friday evening for an energetic and fun experience that is perfect for beginners and experienced dancers alike.

Classes are led by local Concord instructor Jorge Daza Blancas, who has experience teaching a variety of Latin dance styles to students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you have years of dance experience or are stepping onto the dance floor for the first time, everyone is welcome.

Grab a partner, bring a friend, or come solo and enjoy a fun evening of music, movement, and community.

Join us for our monthly Classic Cars & Coffee event at Gibson Mill. We’ll gather in the parking lot between The Depot and the Food Hall at Gibson Mill Market for a morning of classic vehicles, conversation, and community.

This event welcomes cars, trucks, and motorcycles that are approximately 50+ years old.

Stop by Petalcakes Coffee & Bakery inside Gibson Mill Market for coffee, pastries, and your favorite beverages while you enjoy the event. Be sure to make time to visit the AutoBarn Classic Cars showroom while you're on campus as well, and stay for lunch inside the food hall when restaurants open at 11am.
